Anglers Court

The location in the heart of Dullstroom was hard to beat. Our room was spotless, with creative, cozy decor and the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Of all the places we stayed during three weeks exploring South Africa, this was the best. I just wish we’d had more time to enjoy Suzanne’s hospitality.

The bathroom was a real treat, with a huge spa bath, a massive shower, and a light that warmed the room. The cottage also had a king-size bed with comfy pillows, a feather duvet, electric blankets, and even underfloor heating in part of the floor. Anglers Court is a lovely self-catering spot just a few metres back from the main road. We were welcomed warmly and shown to our cottage, where all the thoughtful touches quickly stood out: a wood-filled fireplace, Old Brown Sherry, blankets, cookies, and rusks. We settled in easily and made the most of our one-night stay.

There are plenty of local restaurants nearby for nights when you don't feel like cooking. The room had a handy kitchenette, a braai area on the stoop, comfortable beds, and a cozy fireplace that set a lovely mood for couples. A beautiful place to stay in the small town of Dullstroom. I enjoyed my visit.

That fireplace was such a treat in the cold winter weather, and the atmosphere felt so warm and positive. The location is perfect. I’d recommend it for couples, mother-daughter or father-son trips, and other travellers.
