Bellevue Manor Guest House

I stayed in Eve, and the room was modern and always clean. The owners and staff at The Bellevue B&B Guest House were kind and made an effort to engage with their guests. Breakfast was great and always served in bed. I had a really good time and would recommend it to anyone visiting Dundee.

The owner’s first greeting when I arrived was unfriendly, with no smile or even a question about my trip or whether I’d had trouble finding the place. I was also told I couldn’t have visitors during the day, no matter what I was doing with them. The hospitality was a 1 out of 5.

Our room looked out onto a washing line covered in old, torn towels, and the kettle was very dirty, brown at the bottom. There was no one to meet our party when we arrived, so the keys had been left with the neighbours. The breakfast we ordered wasn’t provided. The bath had no plug, and the advertised complimentary toiletries weren’t there, not even toilet spray.

Craig was a fantastic host and did everything to make the B&B comfortable. It’s a real gem in a peaceful area, with a lovely house, rooms, and garden.
