The place felt secure, and everything was clean. Staff were friendly too. We went to the bar for a nightcap around 7:50 pm, just before closing, and they kept it open until we were finished.

The breakfast was delicious, and the woman who served me made the morning feel especially welcoming. It came with bacon, but when I said I don't eat it, she offered mushrooms instead without any fuss. I had a great experience 😊

I was there from 15 August 2025 to the morning of 16 August 2025. The way breakfast was priced left me very disappointed. We were billed for each item on the plate separately, like the two eggs and bread. That made me feel the pricing was being inflated, since breakfasts with the same contents were listed at different prices. A woman served us, but I couldn't get her name. She was pregnant at the time. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Patrick was lovely and sorted us out with a free upgrade after a mixup. I hadn't expected much, but the shower was hot and excellent, and the bed was absolutely divine. Thanks again. Definitely the best place to stay in Dundee.

The rooms were clean and lovely, with really hot water. We could have used more tea and coffee, and the place didn't seem well prepared for load shedding. We had no power from 7 to 9 pm and were given only a candle. The emergency globe in one of our rooms didn't last the full two hours. Some solar lighting would surely help.
