The room was clean and beautifully decorated, the pool area was lovely, and each room had its own Netflix account. We felt welcome, and Old Mill Guest house really felt like a second home. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and accommodating, and they let us check in earlier than planned. When the owner found out it was our honeymoon, she went out of her way to decorate the room for us at no charge. Breakfast was delicious. We had to leave early on the second morning and couldn’t stay for breakfast, so the owner went out of her way to buy us food for the road. The guest house is in a lovely part of town, just two minutes from restaurants.

Breakfast was lovely, and it was such a quiet place to stay. The host and staff made us feel really welcome. They even found a birthday gift for our daughter when she turned 8. It reminded me there’s still a lot of kindness around. Thank you so much.

Our room had plenty of space, plus a private outdoor area opening onto the pool and braai spot. The manageress was professional and on top of things, and the whole Old mill has a lot of charm. We had a very nice breakfast too. Such a good stay, I’d like to come back.

We had booked first, yet the owner double-booked and gave the place to other people. When we arrived on the 15th this month, she was very rude and actually told us to sleep in the garden. We’d come all the way from underburg and were treated like animals. In the end, she booked another dirty house for us. You were completely in the wrong.

Heather and her staff were wonderful, and they really made sure we had what we needed to be comfortable. The place suited the two of us perfectly. Cianna had a great time with the pool and wifi, lol. We’ll definitely come back.
