We had a great stay. They welcomed us warmly and were friendly and flexible about our arrival times.

We had a balcony with a sea view, and the garden was beautiful. Joan’s B&B was well maintained, with clean, nicely decorated rooms and comfortable bedding. The shower was the best I’ve had in a while. There was a mini bar fridge, kettle, tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast included eggs made how you like them, bacon, mushrooms, tomato, toast, juice, tea or coffee, yoghurt, and assorted cereals. Thanks for a great stay at a reasonable price. We’ll definitely return.

Colin is attentive and ready each morning to make breakfast just how you like it. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, so it’s easy to get a decent night’s rest, and the beds are comfortable. It’s also conveniently located for business in Durban North or Durban city centre, with easy access to both.

Booking online was easy and reliable, and breakfast by the pool was tasty and relaxing. Our room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Colin was a great host and gave us useful information about Durban and the rest of our travels. We really enjoyed our stay at Joan's B&B and would definitely recommend it.

It’s close to supermarkets, restaurants, and malls, with the beach only a short drive away. We were welcomed warmly, and they handled every request and were happy to help. They make your comfort a priority. Highly recommend for couples and families.
