The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I slept very well on both nights. The room was a lovely size, secure, clean, and functional, with a central location that was easy to reach. It was good value, and I’d stay again, as long as I plan around a couple of things. The WiFi was advertised, but it was so slow it didn’t work for me. I couldn’t even run a speed test, and it was slower than dial-up. That mattered because I was attending an IT conference, though I had my own data as a backup. My room’s air conditioning also didn’t work, but I didn’t need it in the cool weather. The mini kitchen had no sink, and the cold water waiting in the fridge was appreciated. I had to ask for a hairdryer, and they weren’t sure whether they had one that worked, so bring your own. I got lucky. The host was very friendly, though I felt we may have inconvenienced her by asking for an early breakfast. It was nicely laid out and tasty. On the second morning, though, there was no breakfast and nobody around to help us get something before we left. I’ve learned to make any early breakfast request well ahead of time. I’m sharing this so people can have realistic expectations.
