Al Hamra Hotel

My family and I had a great time here. The service was lovely, and our rooms were really clean and well decorated.

The rooms were clean and had the necessary furnishings, though rugs in the rooms and bathrooms might add some warmth and make them look nicer. For the money, I was disappointed. Breakfast was a mess. The hotel was fully booked, but there wasn't enough bread, eggs, tea, coffee mugs, or crockery for everyone. We waited 45 minutes for mugs and food that had run out. The display was poor, and the staff were slow, uncooperative, and communicated badly. There was no management or supervision in the breakfast room, and everything felt disorganized. Guests were noisy while checking in regardless of the time, and staff did nothing to keep their behavior in check or show respect for other guests. Sad.

We won't book at Al Hamra Hotel again, and I wouldn't recommend it to others. The website prices also differ from what you get when booking. Parking was an issue, and the staff spoke to us rudely and unhelpfully about where we could park. Other guests were noisy without being spoken to. At 23:43 people were screaming and carrying on in the passages, and management did nothing, though we expected them to step in.

The place was comfortable and affordable, and the staff were helpful and really friendly. It's a good fit for islamic families. I had a great experience and would highly recommend it.
