Villa La Palma

We especially like the upstairs apartments. The guesthouse is on Shutter Rd, just off Helen Joseph Street, and within walking distance of the places to eat on Helen Joseph, including the famous Cane Cutters takeaway, woolworths Food and Davonport shopping centre. Each of the four apartments is very clean and has two large rooms, with a king-size bed in the main bedroom and two single beds in the children's room. The kitchen is well equipped, with a washing machine and dryer, and the open-plan lounge and dining area is comfortable. It's a great setup for a family of four. Breakfast is available for an extra cost, though we make our own. There's still some persistent noise at night from a nearby 'restaurant', but it has pleasantly eased since our first visit. We've stayed three times this year already. Bruce is an obliging host, and the cleaners are friendly, leave you undisturbed, and make the rooms spotless every day. We'll definitely come back.
