Beach Port Lodge

We were completely happy with room 214. The big balcony looked out over the ocean and ushaka marine world, and we could watch boats leaving the harbour. Inside, there was a proper bed, shower, air conditioning, TV, WiFi, good couches, and a dining area, plus a stove and pots, washing machine, dryer, fridge, and more.

A great option for a cruise departure layover, with the terminal practically across the road. It's close to Ushaka and entertainment, and the sea and Harbour views are awesome.

The harbor lights at night were lovely, and I enjoyed the relaxing ocean view. The rooms look out over the harbor and beach, and the place was clean. Parking can be tiring to maneuver, though.

We were only two people in the three bedroom apartment we booked for the weekend. The price was good and its location fitted our plans. It was tidy, but it needed a deep clean. The windows were dirty, the sofas stained, the dish towels smelled terrible, and the window sills were peeling. The whole apartment felt very outdated. There was no Netflix on the television, so it was no use to us. The only thing we could watch or hear was music playing on a loop. The main bathroom smelled bad, so we didn't use its shower or toilet. There were no closets in the main bedroom, which left us without space for our clothes. The other bathrooms were a bit too small, though they served their purpose. The apartment is directly across from Ushaka Marine World, so it's convenient if that's where you're going. The views are beautiful to wake up to, and it was peaceful and relaxing. The parking garage is cramped, so you have to be careful getting in and out. I'm sure the other apartments are nice, but I only saw this one. I'd book here again, just not this particular apartment.
