For a stop in Durban's southern suburbs, Eves B&B is handily placed in Queensburgh, near Malvern and Hillary and the main routes toward the south coast and inland. It seems best for an overnight visit. The friendly staff serve an English breakfast in your room, and the basic rooms are tidy, clean, and serviced each day. There's also a larger family unit with self-catering, plus a pool for hot summer weather. It may not get a four-star rating from the Tourism Grading Council, but the friendly service is why we'd give it four stars.

We felt right at home, thanks to the welcoming hosts. The room was clean and smelled fresh, and the entertainment area was great. Thanks for a lovely stay, we're already looking forward to coming back.

We absolutely loved this place for a family break. The hosts were friendly, the entertainment area was excellent, and it was close to all the amenities. The hospitality was wonderful. Can't wait to come back!

The bed, pillows, and linen were good, and the room was okay, though a few things weren't working properly. There was broken, second-hand furniture outside, and the whole place felt a bit run-down.
