Felix knew the area really well and pointed us toward a great beach, where we had an amazing time. The owner and staff made a real effort to make us feel at home. The location was convenient for the amenities we needed, and the place felt cozy. Breakfast was excellent too.

The room was spotless, the bed was comfy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast tasted great. It’s also handy for restaurants and takeaways, with Woolworth and Checkers just a short walk away. I’ll definitely come back.

I was worried about my safety when I drove through Berea on the evening of 23 January 2025. The property entrance is down a dingy lane off the main road, in a badly run-down area. I rang the bell at about 6 pm, feeling anxious for someone to let me in, but nobody answered. I drove away because I was afraid to stay there alone. I wouldn’t recommend it to women travelling alone. Now the owner won’t refund me, saying I never arrived. Absolutely not recommended.
