Holland House

Kim & Elliot & Staff made the whole experience amazing from start to finish. They picked us up at the airport around midnight and took us to an enormous, beautiful room. The breakfasts were magical, and they drove us to other venues, which really lowered our stress. They also took us back to the airport. Nothing was too much trouble for them!

My 2.5 weeks here were a real pleasure, and I’d stay again. I had room no. 10, with sofas on the terrace and a pool view. The house felt very safe, and the long-term staff were trusted and kind. The owners were around and really supportive on several occasions. They and the staff, especially Elliot and Maggie, were warm, friendly, attentive, and supportive. The house is furnished with antiques mixed with modern pieces, and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and cleaned daily. Breakfast was simple but good enough to start the day, with fruit salads, cereals, and the usual eggs and bacon. The location’s handy for eating and coffee at Florida road and Spiga/Vida. The pool was spotless and inviting, and breakfast was delicious each morning. From check-in onward, the team at Holland House made me feel welcome and looked after, and the amenities were top-notch. I had a memorable stay and would gladly come back soon.

Kim and Elliotte made sure all our guests were well looked after, and helped arrange a catered lunch and breakfast the next morning. Both meals were generous and delicious. The rooms were spacious, clean, and stylish, and the central Durban location worked perfectly. We’d happily return with another tour group or on a personal trip.
