We started our South Africa holiday at Devon Valley Hotel, staying for the first couple of days. The setting and views were stunning, and our room was a good size with those same exceptional views. The bathroom lighting could be better, though. It's somewhat remote, which made for a tranquil, relaxed stay, and getting an Uber into Stellenbosch was easy. We normally don't eat at the hotel where we're staying, but we're glad we did this time. The food was absolutely stunning and the waitress service immaculate. Breakfast had a good variety too. It would help if the food were labelled and the waiting staff explained what alternatives, like toast, were available. All in all, an exceptional start to our holiday. Thank you!

The table was beautifully set, with lots of attention to detail, and made a warm, inviting space for our large group. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating all evening, checking that everyone was comfortable. Service was a little slow, but understandable with a group our size, and the team still handled everything smoothly and professionally. The food was well prepared, tasty and nicely presented, with generous portions that everyone enjoyed. We brought our own wine, and the R95 per bottle corkage seemed reasonable for the venue and experience. We hosted a function at Devon Valley Wine Estate Restaurant and had a lovely evening. The peaceful estate, scenic atmosphere and wonderful views suited the event perfectly. With the setting, food, staff and care given to the details, I'd recommend it for special occasions or group events. Good job, we can't wait to return for another event or even just a visit.

Idyllic and peaceful, it's a wonderful place for a romantic break or a conference, including hybrid meetings. Every staff member went out of their way to help. It's only half an hour from the airport.

We had lunch at Devon Valley Hotel for my mom's 90th birthday, and it was a pleasure. Everything was so well organised, and we were very happy with the fresh, appetising buffet menu. A huge thanks to Edgar and his team for a superb Sunday lunch. Edgar also arranged a birthday cupcake for my mom. Thanks!
