N-Self Catering Lodge

I needed somewhere close to my training venue, and was very happy with this find. The rooms were lovely and clean, and everyone at reception was welcoming.

The staff were lovely, and the furniture was just right. It felt clean and safe, with visible security and an electronic sensor gate. The location is near or in the CBD area, with malls around, and DRN’s great weather is a real bonus. There isn’t much parking, though.

The rooms had clean bedding, a separate bathroom, flat-screen TV, air conditioner, mini table, chair and bar fridge, among other things. The whole place was spotless and smelled lovely from reception down the hall to the rooms and bathrooms. The staff worked hard to make us comfortable and welcome, and I really enjoyed my stay. I’ll consider The Cato Suites Hotel again when I travel to Durban. Whoever owns the place should raise the staff’s salaries, they deserve it for making guests want to stay longer or come back.

The secure parking area and the clean hotel helped me feel safe throughout my stay. My room was quiet, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower had plenty of hot water. The staff were kind, and the hotel itself was very nice. It’s in a perfect area for visiting Durban, and I’d happily recommend it.
