Regal Inn North Beach

The booking process went smoothly, and we got the invoice on time. Check in at 15h00 was quick, and the room worked well for our family. With the heat, though, the aircon didn’t cool the room at all. There wasn’t much space between the bed and closet, and the headboard needs changing. We all woke up with white things on our faces. The TV channels were very limited, with no kids channels, and the bathroom glass door didn’t feel safe enough for travelling with a toddler. A toilet brush would also be useful. The stay was still perfect overall, thanks in part to the excellent service. The Housekeeping Manager was friendly and came to check whether we needed room service the day after we put up the Do not disturb sign. Thank you to all the staff. We’ll definitely be back. Kind regards, Mandisa Reservationist at the San Lameer Hotel

The location is superb, right next to the beach for holidaymakers or anyone wanting beach views. It’s also conveniently close to the Durban Holocaust Centre and the Durban tourism centre. Regal Inn is cozy, the rooms are awesome, and the service is great.

Service was 2/10. I booked through booking.com and told them my flight would be from 4-5, but my booking had been cancelled by the time I arrived, so I had to book again. The receptionist was rude. Breakfast is something you have to buy yourself, and the food was bad 🚮🚮 yoh

The rooms were quiet, the parking was spacious, and I loved the checkout time. There was no pressure from the cleaning service to check out, and the receptionist was awesome. I don’t eat pork, so I didn’t have breakfast, but the visit was a 5/5 overall. Thank you, I’ll definitely visit again.
