I was in Durban for my first time on a work trip, staying for a week and a few days. It felt like home, and by the end I didn't want to leave. The hosts were warm and friendly, and Mariane worked magic in the kitchen. I was very well fed throughout the visit. Everyone was helpful and accommodating, which I appreciated. It's clean, spacious and peaceful, with especially lovely views from the patio. I'd return if I get the chance.

The owners were lovely, and dinner was first class, like my Grandmother's cooking. I stayed in a room with the basics I needed, including a fridge, coffee station and desk for working. I'd happily recommend this Bed & Breakfast to friends and family, especially for business travel, and I'll stay at Sylvern Bed & Breakfast again soon.

Sylvern is a comfortable, convenient and cozy choice in the Westville area. There's secure parking for your car, and home-cooked meals are available. The accommodation was clean and really relaxing, and we received a warm welcome. I highly recommend this lovely place!

My colleague and I spent two weeks at Sylvern B&B for work, and it really felt like home. The owners and housekeeper were so warm and friendly, and the food was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would recommend it.

During a two-week work trip from Australia to South Africa, I stayed at Sylvern, and I'm so glad I chose to support a local place. Berleen and Steve were hands-on with guests, made me feel at home and treated me like a VIP. The dinners and breakfasts were wonderful. I'll definitely stay again on my next business trip.
