Terebinte Guest House

The hosts really look after their guests and make sure you have a good experience. The rooms are clean and hygienic, with thoughtful fittings, great kitchen utensils, and the best bed and linen. It's centrally placed for the beach, Pavilion, Musgrave, and the restaurants and nightlife on Florida road.

Check-in was quick and easy, and the owners even offered us an early arrival, which we really appreciated. They'd also left mosquito spray in the room just in case. It was hot and humid, but luckily we didn't see any mosquitos. The room had everything we needed, from the microwave, bar fridge and little kitchenette with pretty dishes to extra tea and coffee. We could eat or work at the desk, and the hot showers and working aircon were a blessing after long days. The spacious shower, towels, shower gel and shampoo were all appreciated too. Decor looked good, the area was very quiet, and parking felt very safe. I slept wonderfully in the comfortable bed with crisp white bedding, and the place was very clean and felt safe. There was also a nice garden seating area for tea or coffee under the moonlight.

Breakfast was top class, and the owner was professional and friendly. An amazing stay in excellent accommodation. This will be my first choice whenever work brings me to Durban.

Gerhardt was such a friendly, helpful host. The rooms are lovely and nicely decorated, with all three amenities you need. It's only a short Uber ride to shops and restaurants. I'll always be happy to return to terebinte.
