The pool and entertainment area have the best panoramic view in Durban. The rooms are spacious and clean, and John and his lovely wife Peggy are such awesome, friendly hosts. They make you feel welcome and comfortable, and are very accommodating.

The area is quiet, so it’s a good spot if you want to get away from the noise of the city. I enjoyed staying here with my child. It felt safe and suited us well, and could work for a couple too. Our private room had its own bathroom, two twin beds, a bar fridge, and a TV connected to DSTV. There’s a shared kitchen outside that’s great for self catering, plus an outdoor pool and a chill-out area with another bar fridge for drinks.

The bed was clean and comfortable, and I had my own channels to enjoy. I had a warm, friendly chat with John, who was very accommodating and a wise man. He’s one of the best of the older generation we have in S.A. I’ll definitely go back just to enjoy his company and learn more from him.

John’s breakfast was first class, and the room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hosts were wonderfully welcoming. I arrived without dinner plans and they invited me to join them.
