The WhiteHouse B&B

The two hosts really made us feel at home, always going out of their way and serving breakfast with a smile. Breakfast was huge and ready on time each morning. The B&B itself was spotless, comfortable, and spacious. We’ll definitely come back.

The food has been really scrumptious, and it’s such a peaceful place for either a work trip or a vacation. I’m enjoying my stay so far. The staff are great, the B&B is beautiful, and the neighborhood feels safe. The pictures I shared are of the Deluxe Room.

The pool, seating areas, and mini library were all nice features, and the house itself is beautiful. The receptionist was great, but there were some frustrating details. The white bedding had marks on it, as did the blanket in the cupboard. I could hear staff at night, and the bed wasn’t very comfortable, so I didn’t sleep well. There’s also a confusing hole above the door that didn’t seem to make sense.

I booked in October 2022 for February 2023 and paid by bank transfer to secure the reservation. The property had offered bank transfer as an option, but then refused to accept it and wanted cash on arrival. When I got there, they said there was no booking, even though I showed them all the paperwork and email trail. They offered a more expensive room and expected me to pay the higher rate. The service was disgraceful. I left and happily paid double at another property.
