We stopped over in Johanessburg for one night before renting a car to drive to Kruger National Park. The place is handy for the airport, with friendly staff, roomy accommodation, and secure facilities. They supplied towels, and our room had a lovely balcony.

Checkers Hyper is right across the road. The place is comfortable, in a good location, and very nice.

Management really looked after us and kept things running well. The rooms were cleaned every day, and there's on-site parking and wifi in a safe area. A great experience, with wonderful service and rooms 💯

The rooms were clean and serviced daily, but there were quite a few problems. There's no air-conditioner, and when the TV wasn't working they replaced it with an old model with poor picture and reception and very few channels. The extra blanket in the wardrobe had stains on it. The toilet needed several flushes to clear, and the broken shower soap holder couldn't hold a bar of soap. Cars also rely on security to open and close the gate. There are no remotes or keys for access, so if security leaves the post, you're stuck at the gate.
