The spa and massages were amazing, and the private beach was a real highlight: peaceful, pristine and never crowded. We had a wonderful five days at this beautiful, family friendly resort and would happily recommend it. Service was excellent, and the staff were friendly, attentive and always willing to help. The two little kids in our family were never bored. It's a lovely place for families to relax and make memories. Definitely a hidden gem on the south coast.

I loved the calm, relaxing atmosphere at Sugar Beach Resort. My room looked out over the ocean, and waking to the waves and that view each morning brought me so much peace. The coastal setting is beautiful, and it was a lovely place to unwind and recharge. I truly enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone after a peaceful seaside break.

The wedding was a real highlight. We celebrated and attended it here, with a beautiful reception on the premises, and the walks under the stars were so calming. The staff took care of every detail and helped make the day unforgettable. We also had a blast, though our stay was too short. Warm regards from the Cape Town guests, 23 to 28 September 2025. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome and breathtaking ocean views stood out. The resort is beautifully maintained, with a mix of luxury, relaxed coastal charm and the sounds of nature. Our spacious, spotless room had incredible sea views. We loved waking to the waves, having morning coffee, and taking in the ocean's smells and sounds. The fresh food was beautifully presented and full of local flavour. A lovely choice for a wedding, a romantic getaway or a peaceful holiday by the ocean. We can't recommend it enough and can't wait to return!

For our December family vacation, we stayed in one of the family cabins at Sugar Beach Resort KZN, with a beautiful sea view. We fell asleep listening to the waves, and Chantelle was a wonderful hostess. The views were gorgeous, the staff so friendly, and the food fantastic. We'd highly recommend it!

Complete tranquility, and everything was just perfect. Mrs Khan is such a lovely lady and an amazing host, and Chantelle was amazing too. From arrival to departure, the service was excellent, and breakfast was divine. We loved our stay and will definitely return to this hidden gem. It's perfect for a romantic getaway. Jazakallah, Mrs Khan. Sugar Beach Resort is the perfect place to book.
