Breakfast options were limited, and I wasn't happy with the sausage. I'm not sure whether the defrosting process is being followed. I ended up leaving it uneaten. HSE OIL MANAGEMENT

The food was delicious, and I had a great time at the lounge. There was a small wait for the food to arrive, but I'd still recommend it to friends.

The room was cleaned and the bedding changed every day, which I appreciated most. It had everything I needed, plus free Wi-Fi. The guesthouse sits on elevated ground, so make sure your vehicle is mechanically sound or it could roll back. I enjoyed my stay, and the Amble inn staff should keep up the good work.

Nothing about this place was good. The TV and air conditioner didn't work, and the fridge seemed to be there only for decoration because it was broken too. The floor, shower, and toilet were filthy, with mould in the bathroom. The bedding and linen looked old and stained, and there was dust on the cups and saucers. The owner doesn't care, and this place doesn't deserve even one star. I'd rather sleep in my car.

I booked weeks ahead but was disappointed to get a bottom-of-the-range room, and it wasn't even ready when I arrived. I had to ask for toilet paper and soap. The fridge wobbled, so I put paper under it to level it. I was told not to change the air-con settings because it might leak onto the TV, which meant I couldn't use the heater. The blankets hadn't been washed, and I sneezed all night. At breakfast, they wouldn't let me take my meal away after I'd served myself cereal. I had to ask for the manager before they allowed it. The hospitality and service were disappointing, and this place has lost a customer.
