I was truly disappointed because my expectations had been higher. My room hadn't been properly prepared, the curtains were stained, and there was an open bottle of still water in the fridge that wasn't mine. The food was awful, just 1/10 from the starters through to the main course.

The bed was so hard. There was no remote for the air con in my room, and reception told me to operate it manually. I had to climb up on a chair to do that.

The staff were really nice, but the place was filthy and I wasn't pleased with how unclean it was. The curtains were dirty, and the base covers were black and very dirty too. The floor mat was so dirty that I couldn't walk on it without shoes. The bathroom door and shower door were dirty, and even the entrance to reception put me off from the outside. I can never come back.

I ordered a breakfast pack the day before but was given a meal I hadn't requested. Sleep was difficult too. After 10 pm, the noise in the passages was shocking, and someone even tried to open my room door while I was trying to get some rest. A brown door between my room and the next guest room let me hear everything over there, including music playing at 1 am.

The conference room and events were fantastic. The garden and building were top notch, and hats off to the maintenance manager.
