Die Kersiehuis

I don't usually stay in Ficksburg for business, so I had to look for somewhere new. I came across Kersiehuis online, and the signs from the main road made it easy to find. The receptionist met me quickly and showed me to a spacious room with the basics: coffee and tea, a bathroom with a bath and shower, and a TV. There was no aircon, but during my early-year visit it was cold and rainy, so I didn't need one. Dinner arrived on time and included a steak cooked how I like it, wine, and dessert. There was a little noise from the neighbours, but it quieted down pretty quickly, so I slept well. Breakfast was ready promptly when I came down in the morning, and then I was on my way for the day. The place is generally well maintained and the rooms are decent. I'd definitely return to Kersiehuis if I need to stay in the area again.
