Bleu Cobalt Cottage

The location puts you right in the heart of everything, and the cottage and pool were spotless and divine. Jan was a fantastic host, from the pre-arrival emails and helpful communication through to departure. The place exceeded our expectations, even compared with high end hotels. It was a 10/10 experience across the board. We’d book this cottage again without hesitation if we get the chance to return. Thanks again, Jan, for all your help.

We spent seven nights here and really didn't want to leave. This was our second visit to such a special place, and Jan once again made it his mission to make sure we had a great time. The cottage is immaculate, and the kitchen works well, with a toaster, microwave, good sized fridge, and a great cafetiere with local coffee supplied. From the bedroom, you step out onto your own patio, then it's a short walk to the beautiful pool and its very comfortable sun loungers. The only thing that would make the place perfect for us is a bigger bed. It's a standard double, and we felt a bit squashed at night. Thank you, Jan, for making our Christmas so special x.

Franschhoek is a great place to visit, and this accommodation is centrally located and feels very safe. We stayed with Jan for a weekend and got the red carpet treatment from the moment we arrived until we left. The place was spotless, and the personal touches, gifts and services made it well worth the money. Jan is warm and friendly, and goes out of his way to make guests feel special and looked after. Thank you, Jan! We wish we could come back and would definitely recommend it.

For our honeymoon, this cottage was a wonderful choice. It was really clean and well placed, with restaurants and the weekend market within walking distance. Jan went above and beyond to make the stay special. I’d book here again straight away if I returned to Franschhoek, and recommend others do the same.
