La Motte Farms/Winery is worth a visit for breakfast or lunch in a beautiful natural setting, and the prices are reasonable. For dinner, we enjoyed Hussar Grill (at the Marriott); Motherdough is handy for a quick breakfast, and Haute Charbriere Winery has an amazing valley view. We loved how peaceful the neighborhood was, and the walk into town was a pleasure. There’s off-street parking, and the upstairs room was bright and airy, with a king bed, good bedding, bedside tables and lamps, plus dormir windows. It also had a chair, armoire, bench, desk and coffee and tea supplies. A shared fridge on the landing had fresh milk for everyone to use. The bathroom was just as thoughtfully designed as the rest of the place. The house and room were immaculate and charming, with lovely details everywhere. There was nothing we didn’t like.

The hosts were so kind and respectful that I felt at home. The place was clean, had everything I needed, and felt peaceful and comfortable. It’s a great spot whether you want a quiet break or somewhere to explore the surrounding area from. I had a wonderful stay that exceeded my expectations, and highly recommend it to anyone after a warm, welcoming place. I’d love to return.

3OnRoux is a real gem. Being in Franschhoek means vineyard scenery, great food and a charming atmosphere all around. Every moment felt like a dream, and it’s a must-visit for anyone after beauty, relaxation and memorable experiences.

We could easily walk into town, and the location was just right for visiting Franschoek. The house was lovely, the rooms spacious and everything very clean. Our host gave us excellent tips for restaurants and wineries. Breakfast was great too, with homemade jam, bacon and eggs, and bread they made themselves. It felt like staying with a lovely host family.
