Jo was a fantastic host and was always available when we had questions. The Explorers Club is a beautifully decorated four-bedroom home with lots of attention to detail, ideal for a family or small group. It’s tucked away from the busy main road, while everything is still within walking distance. The kitchen is fully equipped. The house works well for cosy winter stays, with several fireplaces and underfloor heating, and for summer breaks, with indoor-outdoor living and a large pool. We’ll definitely be back.

The beds are wonderfully comfortable, the showers are great, and Tugela House is very well appointed. It’s a pleasant, short walk to the high street and its winelands atmosphere. Explorers Club were first class and went out of their way to make sure everything was right for us. We’d highly recommend them. The house is an ideal base for exploring Franschhoek and the surrounding winelands.

Right in the centre of Franschhoek, this roomy self-catering house has a pool and a well-equipped kitchen. It has two rooms for adults and two that sleep five kids, so it suited a big family or two families well.

Melize and Jo were incredibly helpful with the booking and with arranging refunds and offering credit for future travel after the UK government banned travel to SA. We’re looking forward to finally staying at one of their properties in 2022/23.

Really beautiful decor, everything you need, and a huge pool. The accommodation is great and centrally located.
