Franschhoek Manor

The thoughtful touches around the rooms and pool, including ice cream, made this feel like a home away from home. We stayed at the end of January. The grounds are beautiful and the classic rooms are well appointed. The location is incredible, and the staff, especially Pieter and Sam, were so friendly and welcoming. The pool was a perfect place to unwind after a long day exploring, and I could have spent the whole day there if there weren’t so many things to do around Franschhoek. Highly recommend Franschhoek Manor. Can’t wait to stay again.

Pieter and his family made our four days feel magical. They were welcoming and hospitable, shared great tips for vineyards and restaurants, and were always on hand when we needed anything extra. The setting is majestic, nestled among the mountains in the middle of the wine region. Rooms are lovely, comfortable and spacious, with great air con. The pool and its view are spectacular. Breakfast paired delicious fruit and yoghurt with a warm option of your choice. You can walk into town and neighbouring vineyards, or get an Uber in under four minutes. The easiest and most deserved 5 stars I’ve given. We had the best four days here, and can’t thank them enough.

The comfortable beds and tasty breakfast made this a great base for my three day visit to the winelands. It’s a beautiful property with a gorgeous pool and a lovely view across the surrounding mountains. Franschhoek is close enough to walk to, so it was perfect for exploring the winelands.

They even arranged cakes and flowers for my client’s birthday weekend, and were so helpful from the start. After arriving, my clients called to tell me how beautiful and relaxing the place was. I’ll definitely make this my go-to spot in Franschhoek for future clients. Highly recommended!
