Ian helped us over WhatsApp throughout our stay at Los Olivos Penthouse. He was quick to respond, sorted out a parking issue in minutes, and checked in regularly to see that everything was going well. That kind of care really stood out. The penthouse was stylish and comfortable, and the location in the heart of Franschhoek couldn't be better. Restaurants, cafés, markets and boutique shops are all around, so getting to know the town was effortless. It was a lovely way to start our honeymoon, and we'd happily stay here again.

We booked on the website and sorted everything out over WhatsApp. They were helpful, pleasant and quick to reply. The apartment had thoughtful extras we weren't expecting, like a coffee maker, robes, wine, a chocolate treat and fresh flowers, and it was well supplied overall. You're right by cafés and restaurants downstairs, with a grocery store about a five-minute walk away. One of the best vineyards, Haute Cabrière, is just a minute's drive down the road. It's an unbeatable spot, and we'd definitely come back next time. You may want to ask ahead for a few more directions on finding the rooms and using the keys.

Right in the middle of Franschhoek, this stylish apartment is close to restaurants, bars and shops, and you can walk to the tram station. There's also a place to park a car in front of the building. The apartment has what you need for a short visit, including a well-equipped kitchen, a/c and a grill.

Everything is within walking distance, and staying here felt like a little honeymoon. We really enjoyed it and will definitely return, though I wish we'd booked a longer stay. The open-plan living space has everything you need. The bathroom is roomy and the shower is fantastic. The bed is super comfortable, the linen is high quality, and there are luxurious robes for guests to use.
