We found the cottage really convenient, about 400-500 yards from the Franschoek wine tram station. The space was lovely, and breakfast each morning was delicious. Erna and Guido gave us such a warm welcome and were attentive, kind hosts. We'd happily come back if we return to Franschoek.

Breakfast in the garden was a real highlight, fresh and tasty, and we felt completely at home. Erna and Guido welcomed us so warmly from the beginning; they're genuinely kind and it's clear they put a lot of care into the place. We loved our stay at the Cottage on 55 and would definitely recommend it.

We were spoiled by Erna and Guido's hospitality, and really wish we could have stayed longer. The room was roomy and comfortable, and breakfast was amazing. You can walk to the town center and some wineries, while Ubers to vineyards farther away were very inexpensive.
