The surroundings at Le Franschoek are peaceful, right up against the Franschoek mountains, and there are different kinds of accommodation for different needs. The town is 3 kilometers from the hotel. We left at 11h00, parked near the Huguenot monument, then walked along Huguenot street through Franschoek and back. With all the art shops and chocolate shops to browse, the stroll took us three hours. There are lots of coffee shops and restaurants along the road too. By 16h00 we were back at The Villas, warming up in the lounge and enjoying complimentary tea or coffee, whichever we preferred.

I enjoyed staying here. It’s a very safe place, the service was good, and the staff were professional, kind, and nice. You won’t regret spending your money here.

A wonderful place for families, close to nature. Much nicer than the hotel, and a little piece of paradise.
