The spacious, beautiful accommodation and the lovely surroundings made for another spectacular weekend. The pool is the best ever, breakfast is made to order, and central Franschhoek is just 4 minutes away. Charmaine gave us such thoughtful care. It’s completely pet friendly too, so our 3 dogs had a great holiday right along with us.

The rooms have a lovely characteristic style, and the surroundings are beautiful. Service was even better than the place itself, and I’d definitely recommend it. I forgot my dresses, and the owner went to the trouble of sending them back to the Netherlands. Thank you so much.

We spent two wonderful winter days at Le Manoir de Brendel for a friend’s wedding. The reception was perfect, the food sublime, and the staff and management couldn’t do enough for us as we partied late into the night. It was an idyllic, romantic spot for such a special occasion. Sunlight fell across the little chapel as it kissed the mountains and surrounding vineyards. During the day we relaxed by the pool, sipped champagne and enjoyed the peaceful beauty. Before dinner, the cosy fire in the lounge was a lovely place for everyone to gather.
