Villa Ashbourne

Room 7 was lovely, and the service and location were both great. Just be aware that you have to use steps to get to that room, so it won’t suit someone with mobility issues. We could easily walk to the wine tram and the quaint shops, and there was enough parking for our van. The house also has good safety features for getting in.

We spent our days drinking wine and then relaxing beside the pool, and breakfast was a real highlight. The room was enormous and clean, and every staff member we met was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The location is handy for both Main Street and the wine tram. We had a perfect stay and would recommend it without hesitation. Thanks for such a wonderful time!

We chose the poolside room, which was peaceful and quiet, and would happily recommend it. The B&B is an easy walk from both the main street and the wine tram, and it felt safe at night. Load shedding wasn’t a problem because they have generators. Courtney and Cindy welcomed us with a glass of wine and made us feel at home straight away. Our room was spacious and clean, with a fridge stocked with lots of choices and snacks in the room too, both available for purchase. Breakfast included freshly made baked goods, fruit, meats, cheeses, and a full hot menu, even dim sum.

Courtney and Cindy, the managers, made us feel so welcome. Their kindness and service were exceptional, and our stay was comfortable. We were there for three nights at the start of our South Africa trip, about ten minutes from town. It was a lovely way to begin what turned into a fabulous trip, and I’d highly recommend staying here.
