We came for a Parkrun and were surrounded by beautiful nature. The animals and friendly people made us feel welcome, and there’s a nursery as well. It’s a popular place, and you can see why. There’s also a restaurant with a special menu for anyone hungry or thirsty.

We didn’t have a good experience overall. The nursery was nice, and we enjoyed seeing the big tortoises walking around, but the farm animals can bite. A potbelly pig bit us when we tried to feed the animals, so I wouldn’t let kids approach with food in their hands. It’s safer to throw it on the ground. Some animals are friendly, others aren’t. The coffee was truly awful. They forgot to add coffee, and the cappuccinos had no foam, just milk and very weak coffee. Edit: Thanks for responding and taking the time to address what went wrong. I appreciate that you’re taking the coffee and animal interactions seriously. The offer of a complimentary coffee was kind, and I’ll consider visiting again to give it another try. The mountain, farm and ocean views make this such a memorable spot, and the animals add a bit of fun, especially the cute babies. I come here often with my Oupa. The staff are lovely, the service is excellent, and the food is always good. It’s a cozy, comfortable atmosphere.

While my partner does the Saturday parkrun, I spend time with the donkeys, goats, chickens and the rest of the animals. The nursery is magnificent and reasonably priced. When we head home, the restaurant refills my travel mugs.
