The fire and power interruptions were challenging, but the team kept looking after us the whole time. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the staff were courteous, attentive, and consistently helpful. My wife and I were left with a wonderful impression of their hospitality and professionalism during our staycation at Sea Star Cliff. We saw whales right from our room! The views were amazing, the rooms were spacious and very comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

A major wildfire closed the access road, with police blocking it, so it was impossible to reach the property. The hotel denied what was happening, ignored our messages, and refused to offer a free cancellation. They handled this emergency very poorly.

We were given a complimentary upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. Our room was spacious and modern, with an incredible ocean view, and the hotel was one of the cleanest I’ve stayed in. Breakfast was good too. We had a very relaxing stay, thanks to the kind, welcoming, and helpful staff.

The employees were really kind and nice, and the place was super clean. We had a wonderful experience, especially enjoying the breathtaking view from the balcony and the delicious breakfast. Definitely a great place to enjoy a stay in Gansbaai.
