We had just one night here, but the room was comfortable, clean and quiet, with a lovely big bed and a generous bathroom. It had its own entrance and a small courtyard, which made it feel private. The location is excellent, close to almost everything in George. The host was friendly and accommodating, and even offered us some of his wine when we asked where to buy wine. Thanks again, we’d stay here on our next trip through George.

I spent 11 days at Arbour1 and it went beyond what I expected. The peaceful garden, well-kept home and relaxing pool gave me the privacy and calm I needed for a restful break. JP, Charlene and Chef made me feel welcome with professional, excellent service. I’ll miss my beautiful room and amazing breakfasts, and I’ll definitely be back regularly. The whole team knows how to look after guests. God bless and take care. PS: Thx Gabby for connecting me x

We came away from our short stay at Arbour1 feeling thoroughly relaxed. The room had a kitchenette and a big shower, and that heavenly bed gave us the best sleep we’ve had in months. Beautiful gardens and a lovely room make it feel like an escape from the bustle, while still being close to everything you might need in town. We could only stay one night and wished it were longer.

The rooms are lovely and well equipped, and the guesthouse is in a very convenient spot. The staff are friendly and helpful. In the garden you can have local coffee with homemade rusks, swim in summer, or have a barbecue. It really does feel like a beautiful home away from home, and it’s excellent value for the money. Go see for yourself.

The rooms were fantastic and the service was wonderful. Chantelle deserves a special thank you for going out of her way when we ran into trouble with our hired car. We’ll book again when we come back to George.
