I was traveling solo and felt very safe at Burroughs. Michelle looked after me so well over the weekend, and Dessie gave me a lovely warm welcome when I arrived in early January. My room was comfortable, had aircon, and overlooked a beautiful garden. Everything was neat, tidy, and private, with shops and other things close by. Their omelets are to die for! Thanks for the hospitality, highly recommended.

Everything was clean and lovely at this beautiful place. We had breakfast on the stoop in the beautiful garden, served by the friendliest Dessie, and Michelle gave us a great welcome too. Thanks, we’ll visit again!

The rooms are cozy and have everything you need, but what makes Desie feel like home is the people. I felt welcome and at ease as soon as I arrived. I’ll always remember the way I was greeted on the phone. See you soon, macaroon!!!!

Breakfast was a highlight, fresh, lovely to look at, and really tasty. The guest house has a peaceful garden and warm, charming feel, and it’s handy for getting to local attractions, restaurants, and transport. My room was clean, cozy, and had what I needed. The staff were friendly and quick to help, and I felt comfortable from the minute I arrived. A lovely quiet, homely place. I’d happily come back.
