Hugenot View

The garden and mountain views from the little balcony made it a lovely spot for morning coffee. There was private, secure parking, and I felt very safe. The flat-screen TV was easy to use, on a swivel bracket and well positioned. The unit has WiFi, DSTV, Netflix and u-tube. The bathroom felt luxurious, with a spacious shower, bath and white towels. Everything was spotless when I arrived, which is a big plus for me, and the bedding was white, as I prefer, with an electric blanket for colder months. It ticked all my boxes, and I'll be back soon enough!

Andrea made us feel very welcome during our stay at Hugenot View from1- 7 February. We had a comfortable living and sleeping area, good kitchenette facilities, a large bathroom and shower, and an outside deck with seating, a nice garden and mountain views. There's also a covered braai area. It's an excellent place to stay when visiting George, and we highly recommend it.

This was my second stay at Hugenot View, and I'll be back many more times. The only issue I've ever had is that it's often fully booked when I'm in George, which says a lot about the place. Everything is well maintained and the whole stay runs smoothly. Thanks for everything, Andrea, and especially for the electric blanket. After working all day, getting into a warm bed is the perfect end to the day. The rooms are comfortable and stylish, with very comfortable beds, and the heaters make it cosy on cooler evenings. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped, the bathroom is spotless and has everything you could need, and there's a lovely view, patio and garden. I can highly recommend it if you're staying in George. It really feels like home sweet home, and I can't wait to visit again.

Waking up to the mountains and having coffee on the deck was awesome. The location was peaceful, the views spectacular, and we felt relaxed each day, enjoying our holiday at our own pace. The hostess was friendly and welcoming, and the amenities had everything we could ask for and more.
