I’m not easily impressed, but I really was this time. Everyone was so helpful, and Jana was a star who made us feel completely at home. I can honestly recommend it.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were modern and tidy, but curtains would help with privacy and keep out the garden light, which was as bright as a field flood light. Aircons should be standard.

I’ve stayed at Loerie Guest Lodge before and usually don’t fuss over little things, but this visit was a different experience. I found fleas in my bed, mattress and pillows. I did report it, and hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else. If the weather had been good for the beach, I’d have had to avoid going topless with pink marks all over my back and stomach. I’m still itchy.

I went to a day course in the conference hall at Loerie Guest Lodge and found it quiet and professional, a good setting for focused work. The facilities were well maintained, and the bathrooms were clean and spacious. Staff were welcoming, and there was plenty of parking behind secure gates, which was reassuring. There were no hawkers or other distractions nearby. I’d recommend it as a reliable conference or workshop venue in George.

The George CBD location is very convenient, with several golf courses nearby, as well as Van Rensburgs MEAT and a good range of high end Restaurants.
