The breakfasts were delicious, the pool was clean and the whole place was kept tidy. Rooms are beautiful, service is friendly, and the internet was great for work or watching your favorite YouTube videos. Truly an amazing guest house, and I highly recommend staying here.

When we asked about breakfast, we were told to wait until the other guests had finished eating before anyone could help us. We were put in what seemed like a domestic room outside, beside the dustbins. It smelled, the decoder was loose, and there were stickers over the light switches. We felt more like an inconvenience than guests. Extremely disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend this place.

A serious warning for women travelling alone: I don't think TLC is a safe place to stay. That also makes me wonder whether it's suitable for families. Please take that underlying caution seriously.

The room was clean and I felt safe, but at this price I expected better value and more attention to detail. The bathroom had two old air freshener pods in different scents, and neither worked. The duvet was lumpy, with the filling bunched into the corners, so it didn't keep me warm. The cover's press studs wouldn't close either. My first night was cold. There was an electric blanket, which I used even though I don't like sleeping on one, but no regular blanket. When I asked for one the next morning, they said they'd provide it, but it never arrived. There was no bottled water, despite it being listed on the fridge door, and the coffee was poor, with creamer only and no milk. I stayed two nights.
