A quiet part of George, with lovely surroundings and easy access to everywhere. The house had all we needed, plus a lovely garden, braai, and seating area, so it worked perfectly for our family. The modern finishes were stunning and everything was super neat. Great value for money. We had a fantastic, enjoyable stay and will be back next year. Thanks, Devin!

We keep coming back to Lorelei Guesthouse, and it's been awesome every time. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and entertainment area are all spacious, and the covered braai makes it feel like a real home away from home. It's spotlessly clean and centrally located. With a beautiful nature reserve just 1km away, it's a great fit for hikers and mountain bikers.

The photos gave a misleading impression. The place is very modern, but it felt cold, and we were greeted with a list of rules: no kids under 12, don't move furniture, and wash the dishes, though there weren't enough dishwasher cubes. The main shower entrance was only about 25cm, if that. We're not big people, but it felt awful having to shower next door. I was hoping to wash my clothes during our longer stay, then saw a huge sign saying not to use the appliances. Really?

The hosts were friendly and quick to respond, and the braai area was fantastic. This modern guest house had everything we needed, including full DSTV and very fast WiFi for streaming. It's central in George, with a shop within walking distance. A wonderful stay, and I'd definitely recommend it.
