No. 10 Caledon Street Guest House

On our family drive from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town, Oude Berg Guesthouse made a peaceful stopover away from the main road. The host was friendly and welcoming, and the quiet neighborhood meant we all slept well. After a long day driving, the spacious, immaculately clean rooms were a relief. The beds were comfortable, with fresh, crisp linen. It was a great pit stop and we'd recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, relaxing place to break the journey.

The lawns were beautiful, the room exquisite, and the staff friendly. Isabel, the hostess at Oude Berg Guesthouse, was especially warm and welcoming. I had an amazing two-night stay and will definitely be back.

The garden is lovely and peaceful, and we had a delicious breakfast in the beautiful main guest house. Service at Oudeberg guest house was really friendly, and the team was accommodating when we booked at the last minute. We stayed in the garden cottage, which was cute and comfortable, but for the price we missed a few basics: a drying cloth, sharp knife, bowl, cutting board or platter board, and wine glasses. It seems the other rooms have better equipment.

Jan's warm welcome and hospitality made my stay even nicer. I loved the look of the place, from the chandeliers to the decor, and the room and garden were gorgeous. We picked our breakfast options when we arrived, and it was waiting for us in the dining area the next morning. I loved my stay and highly recommend it.
