It’s conveniently placed near the main beach and restaurants, with a shared swimming pool. Some of the units have been nicely renovated, while others still need work, though they have plenty of potential.

We booked the day before and clearly told them we’d arrive at 10 pm at night. They said that would be absolutely fine, but when we got there, no one answered. We drove around Still Baai for two hours and didn’t find anywhere until 1 am, when we ended up in some very expensive accommodation. Not impressed.

Everything we needed was right there on the premises, with activities for children and older guests. The rooms are spacious and the surroundings peaceful. We’ll definitely return.

They did provide 5l of fresh water to use, but an emergency light would have been helpful. I’ll return in summer.
