The room was awful: dirty, mouldy, and with plugs that didn't work. We asked to move, but the other room was poor too, so we found and booked somewhere else. We left after 11:00. My husband had forgotten his shoes, so we called at 14:53. He called back at 14:57 after reception confirmed they'd found them under the bed where he'd left them and would keep them there. At 16:39 we rang to say we'd collect them Wednesday morning. When we arrived at 11:00 on Wednesday, the shoes were gone. At 13:45 we were still sitting at reception while they searched. Two days of our five-day holiday were wasted.

It feels like a little heaven, right in the middle of everything. I thought the cars might disturb my sleep, but they didn't at all, and the service was spot on. The two lovely ladies and the gentleman were so warm and made me feel at home. Thank you!

I had to leave before my stay was over and move to another hotel. The room reception put me in was noisy all day, I got no sleep, and there were fleas in the bed. Other guests were allowed to party into the early hours, which can't be legal. The receptionist was on their personal phone for an hour or more, and I could hear the whole conversation. Worst experience I've had. Horrible!

Getting away from Cape Town's hustle and bustle was wonderful. The staff were friendly and made me feel at home, and the service was impeccable. This hotel really is amazing. I'll recommend it to family and friends, and it'll be at the top of my list when I choose another holiday destination.

The reception and service were friendly, and the rooms were clean with everything needed for an overnight visit. There's also a very nice buffet breakfast available.
