Amour Guest House

The setting is rural and tranquil, and we’d recommend Amour Guest House to anyone visiting the garden route. We’ll try to stay there again on our next trip to George. My wife and I had a brilliant experience. I’ve been lucky enough to stay at top hotels around the world for work, and Amour Guest House meets a five star expectation. The design and architecture are top class. Margaret and Liliya were warm and friendly, breakfast was very nice and could be served indoors or in the garden, and guests can sip margaritas by the pool all day.

Breakfast each morning was beautifully presented and prepared with care. The room was immaculate, modern, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable, with a bed that gave us a restful night’s sleep. From arrival, we were met with genuine warmth and professionalism. The host paid close attention to every detail, and the whole team showed the same high standards. With its serene feel and beautiful surroundings, Amour is a haven of comfort and hospitality. A five-star experience, highly recommended.

We arrived just after midnight after a long drive. I’d let Liliya know in advance, and she patiently waited to welcome us and hand over the keys. The room was very clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. It’s a beautiful place with amazing service, and the breakfast was delicious. I’d definitely book again.

The staff were so friendly and jumped straight in to help when I had a problem with my suitcase. The rooms are huge, clean, and neat, and the breakfast, especially the eggs, was the best in town. It was my first time at this absolute gem, and I’d recommend the guest house to anyone.
