The Manor House at Fancourt

The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in and took really good care of us. It felt cosy and homely, while still having a luxurious feel, and the service was next level. Such an incredible stay. We'll definitely return!

The views were stunning, and the plush bedding and breakfast spread showed how much care had gone into the details. We felt like royalty during our unforgettable weekend at The Manor House. The service and amenities were luxurious, and I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Poloko and Zain were such an asset. Lulu/Lulama and Michelle made the surprises top tier, and we're so grateful to duty managers Patience and Bianca, who were working behind the scenes. The assistant manager at La Cantina, Mrs Vuyokazi Mhobo, and her team were amazing too. Ending the weekend with congratulatory drinks and a song was wonderful. There are several restaurants onsite, and the afternoon tea is very good every day. Room service is handled professionally. The main drawback was the shortage of plug sockets and USB ports, though I understand this may be addressed in the next room upgrade. Breakfast has a wide selection, but it can get crowded, so I'd go early or late. We chose this hotel mainly because it was one of two hotels that are members of leading hotels.

The rooms, facilities, food, golf courses, and gardens all made the place feel magical. The staff are incredible and remember every guest's name. Thanks to Bianca at the Monor House, Earl and Gugu at High Tea, Joyce at breakfast, and the whole Fancourt team for always going above and beyond. It's hard to imagine a more peaceful, beautiful escape with better service and so much to enjoy. We'll be back in a few weeks.
