The Ruby Room

I ended up needing somewhere else to stay late in the evening after a massive disappointment with my lodging. I booked here on AirBnB, and the service was excellent. Check-in was easy, the room was clean, the coffee was nice, and the bed was very comfortable. The garden is beautiful, and it was a great place to rest. I travel to George every month and already have a favorite place, but I’m often disappointed when it’s booked. Now I have another place to book too. I highly recommend the Kings room. Thanks for the great service and a lovely sanctuary.

The room is much bigger than I expected, really more like a suite. The bathroom has a beautiful bathtub and shower, with the loo in a separate room. There’s also a spacious lounge and living area, decorated beautifully. It comes with a bar fridge, microwave, and the cutest little kettle, plus a hair dryer, iron, and ironing board. The thick curtains are lovely, and they’re in both the lounge and bedroom. I think they’re blackout curtains because they make the room nice and dark at night. The smart TV has Netflix without needing to log in to my own account. Free wifi worked very well, even when I did some work on Saturday night for the American company I work remotely for. There was no lag at all, and all my systems worked beautifully, just like at home on my fibre internet. Parking is off street behind a remote-operated gate, so the car feels safe, and they give you a remote to come and go as you please. The garden and setting are beautiful, and the place is so nicely decorated. I’m super impressed and will definitely stay again.

We slept really well, and the room was spacious. Everyone respected each other's space, and the staff were available during the day and very accommodating. All the amenities were close at hand.

The decor and layout are really unique. The hosts went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. It was a brilliant stay, and I’d definitely visit again.
