I was disappointed with my stay. The cottage I was given was much smaller than the one I thought I’d booked and paid for. When I asked to move to another room, the staff weren’t helpful and wouldn’t make the change. I left feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer, and wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Everything was really clean, and the breakfast was very good. What made the place special was the staff, everyone was so friendly, always smiling, and happy to help. They also suggested places to visit and dinner spots. I’m so glad we found it!

The main house has spacious rooms with period-style decor, and they’re clean and comfortable. Breakfast made by Felecia and her team is scrumptious. I’ve stayed at Devereux Lodge regularly for many years, it’s the best in East London and feels like home away from home. Bright, Pumla and the rest of the staff are super-friendly and take care of guests’ needs.

The Wi-Fi was excellent, and the room service was wonderful. The lodge is neat and well kept, with hardworking, dedicated staff. I had an amazing stay and will always recommend it to anyone visiting East London. Thanks!
