The rooms were clean, but dealing with the manager was difficult. She was rude, communicated poorly, and we weren't given room or door keys. We had to call every time, and sometimes no one answered to open the gates. I was always worried about being shouted at or spoken to harshly. Three days felt like too long, and some people left for another place before their booked stay was over.

I missed breakfast once, and the owner was rude. She gave me an apple, a banana, and a Danone, then charged me R50. Later we had steamed bread with beef mixed with potatoes, and that cost R250.

The rooms are cosy, the atmosphere feels homely, and the place is beautiful. Aus Puleng is such a warm, friendly person, and you can tell she loves her job. I'll definitely come back.

A good place to stay, and they're always willing to hear your thoughts and consider how they could do better. I think the internet and Gate Access need upgrading.
