The Hide on Tindale

We arrived close to midnight, but the staff were friendly. The room was nice and clean, with a big room and bathroom.

I booked two rooms for my family, but this turned into a disaster and ruined my daughter’s birthday weekend. We cancelled at check-in and had to travel home at night. The place looked very much like a brothel. Paint was peeling off the walls, the bathrooms were dirty, and the rooms stank. The pool had leaves and plastic bags in it, and the braai area still had ashes from whoever used it last and a dirty grill. In one room, the couch had no cushion and the material that looked like leather was peeling off, clearly uncared for. The photos on booking.com are misleading. There’s no proper parking, and the only carport looked on the brink of falling down. I lost all my money and got no refund for cancelling at check-in. If you’re considering this place, I hope you view it before paying, so you don’t make the same mistake I did.

Good location and clean, and the swimming pool is a cherry on top!

The hostess was so friendly and helpful, and the area felt safe, with shops easy to get to. The rooms and amenities are great, and everything is clean, including the braai area and pool. The TV in the room is disconnected from DSTV, but there’s wifi, and you can watch TV in the common area. I’d recommend this accommodation.
